Dr. Edward Robert Marks, a family physician from Wellsburg, was installed April 4th as president of the West Virginia Academy of Family Physicians during the 62nd Annual Scientific Assembly held at the Embassy Suites in Charleston. Dr. Marks was installed by Dr. Thomas Weida, American Academy of Family Physicians National Representative .
Dr. Marks, currently practices Family Medicine in Wellsburg, WV. He formerly served as Program Director at Wheeling Hospital Family Medicine Residency; Board of Governors, West Liberty University; Clinical Assistant Professor, Department of Family Medicine, West Virginia University School of Medicine; and currently serves as Campus Physician at Bethany College, Bethany, WV. He is married to Toni Jo (Beltrame) Marks and has three children, Madeleine, Katherine and Edward.
A board-certified family physician, Dr. Marks earned his undergraduate degree from West Virginia Wesleyan College, and his medical degree from Marshall University School of Medicine. He completed a family medicine residency at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV.
